| Honestly one of the best Momos I ever had. Got Goat Momo Jhola (soup) and Buffalo momo. Amazing! Must try . However, the Roti was cold and stale , lost1 star because of that. Hopefully ongoing you correct this as it would have been 5/5. Also loved the fact the owner Yamuna was in music videos that were playing in her restaurant, very amusing! | Ordered the chicken jhol momos, steamed paneer and chili curry chicken. They were amazing and juicy! The fried goat momos were a little dry but once you add the sauce, it came to life. The fried rice was also SO good. And prices were so good - def want to come back and try other items on the menu Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Chow Mein, Jhol Momo Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Large vegetarian selection |
| Best and tastiest momos I have ever had within reasonable price. 👌 The environment was good, they have rest room too. The service was a little bit late however I was okay with that, they served a sel roti during my waiting time and that was complimentary . The food was fresh and warm. I came here with family after hearing good things and because everything is halal. We tried a variety of things but the best thing, by far, are the momos. We ordered a bunch of chicken, beef, and shrimp ones in different styles and they were all great – fresh and steaming hot. The other stuff like the thalis weren’t worth getting in my opinion. The servers work hard but it can get a little chaotic as it gets busy. If you’re coming here, I recommend sticking to the momos and possibly some sides dishes.

We had the chicken and the goat jhol Momo ( which comes in a soup base). They use halal meat. The soup was the same across the two jhol bowls, in the chicken you could not really taste the chicken but the goat had a very distinctive taste along with the soup. Atmosphere was pretty nice and while the service was slow it was because the food was made per order.

Essential Napoli restaurant. So authentic and different. The chicken momo is their signature dishes. Fried noodle with special cream sauce is another must. You can’t close the story without the fried dough for dessert

Love the food here! Definitely a to go place for Nepali food on NY! Would recommend this place. The portion here is decent, momos were humongous pieces compared to other places. Thank you for the food!

We had the Veg thali we didn’t like it, maybe it just wasn’t to our taste however some vegetables didn’t seem so fresh. The shrimp and goat Momo were insanely delicious, so flavorful and perfect spiciness. The shrimp was tender and the goat was juicy and savory. We also had masala chai and mango lassi they were delicious.

one of the best places to eat Nepali thali it’s so delicious 🤤 dumplings is good too but honestly I don’t like they are dumplings skin otherwise it’s good. The staff is very jolly and well behaved. They serve you with a smile and take care during the entire time you are there. I will definitely come back

We came early morning after a flight. The chicks jhol momos were so delicious and hit the spot on a cold morning. The auntie serving us was so lovely as well and even gave us separate bowls for our 1 order. She was very sweet and the atmosphere was great. She also gave us a free appetizer that was also delicious.

I came to try the Jhol Momo which is dumplings in a thick, very flavorful soup broth. I got the goat meat variety and it was very tasty! I also ordered the milk tea and tried the butter tea. The butter tea was very salty and I learned it is Yak Milk. Interesting!! Very affordable prices here. I am glad I came and would definitely come again!!

There’s an annual Momo Crawl in Jackson Heights that celebrates the Tibetan and Nepalese dumpling, called “the momo,” and this spot has been the winner of the event 5 times! Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is famous for their jhol momo, which comes in either beef or chicken filling. Jhol momo consists of dumplings immersed in a spicy and aromatic sesame and tomato broth. They’re juicy, flavorful, and warm – $9 for a platter of 8 momo. The skin on the momo are on the thinner side and there’s a lot of filling. I love my momo saucy and this one is very sauced up. If you’re looking for a true taste of Nepal and some of the best momo in Queens, Nepali Bhanchha Ghar is highly recommended.

Loved the place. We tried goat jhol momo(amazing taste, tasted like pure goat meat, not lamb with big dumpling size), sel roti (great, chatani was amazing tasted like from home), roti tarkari (superb), chicken jhol momo (good), chicken chowmein (great), goat & chicken thali (good, and you can add extra for no charge), chicken thenthuk (good with large portion, perfect for soup day), chicken chilly momo (great), masala tea (sweet) and yak milk tea or butter tea(slightly salty) were great too. Chef Aunty is an amazing chef and host. Will visit again for sure.

I have visited many Nepalese restaurants in the USA and this one was the most authentic so far. Food tastes typical Nepali flavored and the ambience has been set up accordingly. Out of all the items that we ordered, I felt like Chowmein could have been slightly better as it was overly sticky and under fried. Rest everything was yummy good. If you are visiting this place, don’t forget to order “Selroti”, It’s totally worth it. The items are reasonably priced which is a plus point.
The only downside is that the space is little cramped and can get very crowded during busy hours. Also, service could be improved slightly.

My family and I really enjoyed this place. The momos were delicious. We also loved the sel roti – just the right amount of sweet and fried goodness. The wai wai sadeko was also delicious, although be careful it has a good kick to it!

Authentic Nepali food that feels like home!
We had a wonderful time at Nepali Bhanchha Ghar. The food was delicious and truly the taste of Nepal. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality of the owner, Bimala Hamal Shrestha didi, who is like a guardian for everyone—especially for the Nepali community. Her dedication to social work is admirable.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine in a homely atmosphere!

Let us make this brief to review:
Customer Service- Zero terrible
Ambiance- OK, not that great
Utensils, plates, and bowls served – very nice and impressive!
Momo Taste- Lack of juiciness flavor, and texture
Jhol- Jhol is more of a timur flavor that ruins, too much ingredients make the dish bland as well.
Thali- Worst.
Quantity- Less
Chicken curry taste – bland
Achar- Tasty
Ambiance- Okay average (not that high)
Will I return back- NO.

As a Nepali, I genuinely want to see our community grow and succeed, especially in the food and hospitality industry abroad. However, I must say that this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with Nepali food.
Even a simple highway thali back in Nepal tastes 10 times better than what I had here . I was especially surprised considering this restaurant had won a couple of momo competition . the momo I had today was far from what I’d expect from a winning recipe. It was bland and poorly made.
Please take this review not as hate but as heartfelt feedback. I truly hope you work on improving the food quality and overall service. Wishing you all the best in the days to come.

I love, love, love this place! It always reminds me of home. The food is amazing and comes at an unbeatable price.
I had some customer service issues in the past, but the new staff is fantastic. They check in to make sure everything is okay—there’s still a little room for improvement, but honestly, if I’m getting unlimited Nepali thali for $13, I really can’t complain. However, I don’t like the chicken curry that comes with thali here. I just order veg thali now.
I visit this place every time I’m in NYC and highly recommend it!

Big thanks to the waiter Jphson, who let us in as they were closing. The staff went above and beyond with excellent service and made sure our Vegan dietary restrictions were met. The food was delicious and extremely flavourful. Big thanks, we will be back the next time we travel to NYC
