Ivey’s Restaurant Menu

Seafood Crepes Reviews

First time here. We had lunch and everything was delicious, seafood crepes, grouper almondine, and daily special. Would definitely recommend. Server was very nice and attentive.

My husband and I tried Ivey’s for our anniversary dinner. It did not disappoint! I got the seafood crepes. I loved them! It was enough to bring home and have leftovers. They tasted great reheated. My husband got the glazed pork medallions with sweet potato cakes. They were delicious, as well! The service was fast and everyone was very polite and attentive to refilling drinks and getting around to the tables to see if we needed anything. We were in and out within an hour, even though it was a busy Saturday evening around 6 pm. We should have made a reservation, but they gave us a table anyway. Next time, we will call ahead. Thank you for a great experience! Keep up the good work. I am glad Robertsdale has a fine restaurant like Ivey’s!

It’s been 16 years since we moved away. I miss this place. I have never been able to find amazing seafood crepes like Ivey’s has. They are delicious!

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were down from Birmingham visiting my grandfather in Gulf Shores and he recommended we go out for dinner one night. We had made reservations but two people canceled last minute. The staff didn’t make a big deal of it and gave us the same table as soon as we walked in. Our service was so accommodating and they had water and bread chips already set up on the table for us to be seated. The bread chips were delicious. Going to Ivey’s you don’t have to settle on the food to get good service, here they have both. At our table we ordered the seafood crepes, the shrimp and grit cakes, the catfish with a shrimp and crab sauce, and the shrimp diane. All came with a house salad with your choice of dressing. Their homemade dressings are ranch, 1000 island, and blue cheese, which were all wonderful! I tasted every entree we ordered except the shrimp Diane and you cannot go wrong with any of the other three. The dish that really stood out to all of us was the shrimp and grit cakes, which our server informed us they had won an award for recently. This restaurant really is the whole package: adorable location, classy ambiance, amazing service, generous portions, extensive wine menu, and affordable pricing. Don’t skip this place even if you’re just driving through to the beach!

Bread Pudding Reviews

Had the lunch Blackened Shrimp with Eggplant. EXCELLENT! Followed up with the New Orleans Bread Pudding, made to share. Also EXCELLENT!

This place was recommended to me. I’m so glad I took their advice! Wonderful food-I had the almond grouper, and it was excellent. Also, the bread pudding was heaven. My dining friends were equally impressed with their entrees. Taylor was our attentive server, and the ambiance is quiet and lovely with beautiful art on every wall. I can’t wait to go back! I

All-around outstanding restaurant from the food to the service and the ambiance. Don’t miss the bread pudding for the desert!!

Salad Reviews

I ordered filet mignon with crab and hollandaise sauce. Hubby ordered chicken fettuccine. Both were delicious. Our appetizer was the mozzarella sticks. Salads came before the entrée and were perfect. It’s not so large as to ruin our appetite but fresh and tasty. We really splurged and had Bananas Foster for dessert. That was very tasty, as well. Their house cabernet was wonderful. I am very pleased with the meal overall. The service was spot on, and the ambiance was relaxed. We’ll come back again.

Our server on Saturday night was very confused. Wrote everything down on her notepad for each person. There were 10 of us. Order for one person who was on his way. Our almost salads looked more like it was for a hamburger. lettuce and tomato with one slice of cucumber cut in half. We were told a baked potato came with the meal. Not. Several of us had the Bourbon steak and opted for the saute mushroom and onions. As our food came out, it was very slow. And the server forgot things. Like the sautéed onions that were supposed to be in with the mushrooms. Brought one serving. So we all shared. Then the person who came later didn’t get his meal. Said it was never ordered. Which 4 of us said that it was ordered. The server had to ask each one of us what we had to drink. Forgot to write down. Not all were the servers’ fault. There should have been someone helping to bring the food out.

The prime rib salad with homemade blue cheese dressing was delicious! Service was good and fast!

4 of us had dinner without reservations on a Tuesday. Service was very good. Salads were excellent. Crab bisque was not very flavorful, very thick roux, pasty texture. Gumbo was ok. Grouper was excellent, crepes were very tasty and very large, steak was flavorful, a little undercooked which was fine. Price point is average. Might go back.

Gumbo Reviews

Staff very friendly, food quite good, Gumbo great.

Went to Ivey’s for our 53rd wedding anniversary. The Seafood Gumbo and Grouper was great. Really like the flavors of the sauce he puts on the fish. The service was also great. Desert Chocolate Cake was delicious.

We went for a Saturday lunch with a reservation. We were seated right away and bread nibbles were delivered. We had a bowl of gumbo that was amazing followed by shrimp & crab crepes and the lunch special mahi. Oth were absolutely delicious. We topped it off with the bourbon bread pudding. Excellent food. Only complaint was my water not being refilled so shared with my partner.

I refuse to order gumbo just anyw! Ivy’s know how to gumbo amongst many other scrumptious dishes!

Grouper Perez Reviews

Went out with my wife and her parents for a nice dinner. Food was delicious as it’s always been every other time we’ve eaten. Tonight I had their Grouper Perez! That was the BEST dish I’ve ever had at Ivey’s!! All good was good but mine was absolutely delicious! Will definitely order that on my next visit!!!😋😋😋 Ohhhh…and DO NOT LEAVE without having the New Orleans Bread Pudding. It’ll top off a perfect meal! Trust me. 👍

Our ladies upscale dinner club made reservations and ate here. Everyone was pleased, the food was excellent. I had Grouper Perez. It was fantastic. The crab bisque was phenomenal. Only thing I was disappointed in was salad. It was extremely small, on a saucer plate and mine had 9 leaves of lettuce. It was sad lol. And we were told by our server that they were not allowed to serve more of the crouton chips than one plate. Which is terrible. Everyone loves them and I even offered to pay for them. Overall. Great place. Great food!! Will go again

Chocolate Cake Reviews

Went to Ivey’s for our 53rd wedding anniversary. The Seafood Gumbo and Grouper was great. Really like the flavors of the sauce he puts on the fish. The service was also great. Desert Chocolate Cake was delicious.
